Chardham Yatra Route Map

Conduction of the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is actually to a journey to the innermost self, where we understand the 5 elements . The popular four Hindu religious sites located in the Garhwal Himalaya ranges in Uttarakhand, motivate the devotees from India and around the global locations- with one aim  i.e., to  attain salvation, or moksha, the ultimate state of liberation in Hinduism. This is also popular as Chota Char Dham is a Hindu pilgrimage circuit in Uttarakhand, consisting of four holy abodes which are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath & Badrinath Conceived  by Adi Shankaracharya, these are Badrinath in Uttarakhand, Dwarka in Gujarat, Puri in Odisha and Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu.

Taking the pilgrimage of 4 Dham Temples in Uttarakhand is a unique experience because each of the dhams of this Hindu pilgrimage circuit are dedicated to a different deity, and have their own major significance. Yamunotri, that is the beginning of Char Dham Darshan Tour, is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, whereas Gangotri is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Kedarnath, which is also known as one of the 12 jyotirlingas, is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Badrinath, dedicated to Vishnu are part of the Char Dham

Devotees who take this spiritual journey of these four holy sites in Uttarakhand are obviously driven by devotion and spirituality, but what makes the yatra even more exciting is the mesmerizing aura of the Himalayas, meadows, mountain forests, rivers,  waterfalls, valleys, and other artistic manifestation of nature can be observed on our path of this yatra. Important point of Chardham Darshan Yatra of Uttarakhand always start from Yamunotri and then proceeding to Gangotri and Kedarnath before concluding in Badrinath.
